It’s finally time to learn a bit about Strand’s past. Strand tries to escape the Abigail, but his raft catches a few bullets and begins to lose air. Mysteriously, they know the names of everyone on the ship even though Alicia says she never told Jack any of that. The boarders tie Travis, Chris and Salazar up in the main room and force Alicia to help do it. That causes the boarders to move for weapons while below deck, the woman slams Madison’s head into the mirror. It’s Jack, the man she was talking to when they first got on the ship. Madison takes the woman whose baby is in distress below deck while Travis and Salazar interrogate the two men. Strand, never having proven to be the best host, doesn’t say anything and opts to run straight for the big gun in his locked chest. The woman is in pain and bleeding so most of the residents of the Abigail move to help. Apparently the three castaways had been floating for days. It’s understandable that they are sticking close to land on their journey to Mexico, but the ocean is a big place, so how many people can they really stumble upon before it gets ridiculous?

Their bonding doesn’t last long due to yet another small boat rowing toward the Abigail. They talk about relationships and Ofelia assures the teen there are probably still other girls on the planet for him to meet, which is quite possibly the worst “plenty of fish in the sea” talk you can get. Out on the deck, Chris and Ofelia are getting to know each other a bit better. Travis thinks they can survive without their mysterious benefactor, but Madison isn’t so sure. Travis and Madison are discussing Strand and his decision to cut the people they were towing loose from the boat. Because in a zombie-infested post-nuclear wasteland, that makes sense. After the title card, the episode jumps back to shortly after the end of last week’s episode. And as for Josiah? Well, he was welcome to join them, but he preferred to go it alone for a while longer. She would go back to the Pennsylvania with Morgan. So Sarah begged Strand not to even tell Wendell that she had been there. But if Victor sent Wendell out to see Sarah, whose loyalty had been lacking, in Victor’s estimation, there was no going back. And upon arriving, Strand gleefully revealed that not only was Sarah’s brother there, he was thriving. “What have I done?” cried Josiah as we rhetorically cried, “What have you done?” This show… seriously.Īfter Rufus was buried, Morgan, Sarah and Josiah made tracks to Victor’s tower to see if Wendell was there. When it was sent flying in the ensuing dustup, guess who got bitten? With that, he pulled out his brother’s head as if to let it bite Morgan. He wasn’t going to kill Morgan - Emile was. When ultimately, Morgan arrived to assist the unlikely tag team in fending off walkers, Josiah said that Sarah was right. What are the odds, right? Sarah walkie-talkie’d Morgan for help, but only because she was sure that Josiah wasn’t really a killer. Would no one ever freaking think about the dog? It wasn’t like he had a seatbelt!īecause this is TV, everyone survived the crash - even Rufus - but they were trapped in the truck… and right next to a much-ballyhooed leaky nuclear warhead. When he still managed to get into the vehicle, she drove it off a cliff with them and Rufus in it. She then tried to leave Josiah behind, speeding off in his Park Ranger truck.

Before long, the duo, along with Rufus (who you’ll recall somehow came into Josiah’s possession), ran afoul of a Stalker whose barn full of stripped-down walkers also housed… Wendell’s wheelchair! Freaking out, Sarah attacked the guy, who in turn let loose a bunch of walkers.
